Payment & Checkout Help

Q1: My payment keeps getting declined. Why?

The most common reason is that your bank requires an additional security verification (called 3D Secure or Mastercard Identity Check / Visa Secure). This is a pop-up window sent by your card's issuing bank — not by our store. If the pop-up is blocked, times out, or you don't complete it in time, the bank automatically declines the transaction.

This does NOT mean your card is bad or your credit score is low. It simply means the bank's security check needs to be completed.

Q2: What should I do if my payment fails?

Step 1: Clear your browser cache or try a different browser (Chrome or Safari recommended).

Step 2: Turn off ad blockers, pop-up blockers, and VPNs — these often block the bank verification window.

Step 3: Double-check your billing address and ZIP code. They must exactly match what your bank has on file.

Step 4: When the verification pop-up appears, complete it right away. Don't refresh the page or close the pop-up.

Step 5: If it still fails, try a different credit/debit card, or choose PayPal at checkout (PayPal doesn't require 3D Secure verification).

Q3: What is 3D Secure?

3D Secure is an extra security layer required by Visa, Mastercard, and other card networks to protect online shoppers. When you make a purchase above a certain amount, your bank may ask you to confirm the payment through:

• An SMS text message with a verification code • A push notification in your banking app • Fingerprint or face ID login

This step helps prevent fraud and protects your account. It's completely normal and required by your bank — we have no control over when it appears.

Q4: Why do I need to verify my payment? I've shopped online before.

Banks are required by card network rules (such as SCA — Strong Customer Authentication in Europe, and similar regulations in the US) to verify online purchases. Higher-value orders (over $100) are more likely to trigger this verification. Since our beauty devices are premium products, most orders will include this step.

Rest assured — your payment information is encrypted and secure.

Q5: What payment methods do you accept?

We accept:

• All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)

• PayPal

If credit card keeps failing, PayPal is usually the fastest alternative — it takes just a few clicks and avoids bank verification pop-ups.

Q6: Will I be charged if my payment failed?

No. If a payment is declined or verification fails, you will not be charged. You may see a temporary $0–$1 authorization hold on your bank statement, but this is released automatically by your bank within 3–7 business days. It is not a real charge.
